Next April 30 expires the deadline for employers to electronically register with the Labor Directorate (DT) the employment contracts of their workers signed before October 1, 2021.
Compliance with the new legal obligation must be done in the Electronic Labor Registry (REL) that each employer must enter on the website of the Labor Directorate.
To comply with the requirement, employers who find themselves in the situation described must enter www.direcciondeltrabajo.cl and then, using a Unique Code if they are a natural person, or through their electronic labor representative, if they are a legal entity, access the MiDT platform.
The REL is a personal repository of each employer, to which only the employer and the DT have access, where the employment contracts, annexes and terms of the employment relationship appear, including the termination by mutual agreement of the parties.
